Shellter Pendant (large)

Patinated and textured sterling silver pendant with cultured fresh water pearl inset, on a sterling silver chain

This statement piece is inspired by the form and rough texture of shells. The carved design at the back of the piece is revealed by the light application of a patina (colour) to the metal.

Like a Russian doll, the Shellter pendant consists of multiple layers. These conceal and ultimately reveal, at the piece’s centre, a beautiful cultured fresh water pearl. Like us all, this piece contains multitudes.

The pendant has been hallmarked and assayed at the Dublin Assay Office to guarantee the quality of the precious metal used.
