Patinated and textured sterling silver drop earrings with a cultured fresh water pearl inset.

These stylish sterling silver earrings are inspired by the forms and rough textures of shells. The carved design at the back of the earring is revealed by the application of a patina (colour) to the metal. The hard exterior gives way to a soft interior, where a fresh water pearl shelters, its bright sheen contrasting with the dark textured finish of the piece.

The earrings hang approximately 40mm (1.6″) from the ear lobe. The ear wires can be customised to your desired length – just message me at iseult@iseultdesigns.com.

This piece has been hallmarked and assayed at the Dublin Assay Office to guarantee the quality of the precious metal used.

Patinated (darkened) and carved/textured finish on outside; smooth patinated finish at interior with cultured fresh water pearl inset.

Care Advice
The patina on the earrings will fade over time but it may be preserved by keeping the earrings in their original packaging. It is not advised to use polishing cloths on the piece, as this may remove the patina.
