Patinated sterling silver pendant with cultured fresh water pearl inset, on sterling silver chain
This small elegant pendant was inspired by the third eye, one of the chakras in buddhist teachings. As a yoga practitioner, I wanted to bring some of my practice into my jewellery.
The third eye chakra, or ajna chakra in Sanskrit, is known as “the seat of intuition”. Located in the centre of the forehead, it acts as the individual’s centre of wisdom, conscience and higher consciousness.
This piece hangs on a 16” or 18” sterling silver chain.
Materials
Sterling silver and cultured fresh water pearl; sterling silver chain.
Finish
Patinated and textured.
Dimensions
Diameter of 9mm (0.35″) with a 2.5mm (0.1″) pearl.
Care Advice
The patina on the piece will fade over time but it may be preserved by keeping it in its original packaging. It is not advised to use polishing cloths on the piece, as this may remove the patina.
